so the open mic last night was awesome
i got a gift from a scret admirer - I KNOW WHO YOU ARE - and i will out her later on - probably offline
but OMG stick pencils... pencils that look like sticks - i am beside myself
i had to put them up high so the dog doesn't chew on them.

maybe it was b/c i just haven't been OUT in so effing long - but i felt like myself again. me with enthusiasm. it was great great times.

the singing at the mint was not to be. sad. :( very sad. i was so ready. but it was packed and icky so i was happy to drink my drink (and half of borrgrrrls) and leave for social at the sparkys. yay for yogurt milkshakes and shoulders to lean my tired head on and getting flashed from the sidewalk and prince songs that i cannot help but sing along to as well - albeit more quietly. who heard me? fess up.

i think the QOTN was something about choking on a pickle personally.

and i have fallen in back in love with driving just so that i can sing with my dresden dolls cd. her voice is the same range as mine. oh fucking yay. just belt it out and head to the next destination.

today is movies on the couch and playful memes and trying to stock up on OJ and airborne while rooster deals with a nasty lung infection.
after the hectic of the last few weeks - that sounds ideal.

my arms are feeling better again. here is where i notice (again) how much stress triggers the flareups. oh the holidays and the film shoot are both over - ah - time to feel better. sigh. i crack myself up - and then have to put back the pieces.

i hate admitting that i am fragile.

in 1987 - robert mitchum hosted snl. during this appearance he got his co star - the awesome jane greer to appear on the show as well and they did a spoof on their noir classic - out of the past. for all of the fuss about being able to find ANYTHING on youtube - i am frustrated that this can only be a well documented part of film noir legend - but not on youtube nor google video nor yahoo video etc can i find anything to satisfy my urge - dare i say my NEED to see this clip.

just watched out of the past again. FUCK that's an amazing film.
