2. i wrote my first poem when i was seven and waiting in a dentists office. it was a meditation on pain, fear and unicorns are the protectors of sacred(and painfree) magical space
3. a poem is never satisfied with being done. they frequently rewrite themselves even as they leave the poets lips - sometimes by words changing, sometimes just the nuances in tone. i let mine be once they are done enough to stop nagging me for more attention every five minutes.
