This year's QBall Performance Gala is more dynamic than ever! It starts with four separate art openings! Fresh Meat's E. Ramstad and Billie Mandel curate a dynamic show in Gallery 301; Tina Butcher, Heather Catanich and Lauren Wheeler inhabit the 2nd and 4th floors; Cathy Cade and Jane Philomen Cleland bring you 10 years of photographs of the Dyke March and in the Three Dollar Bill Cafe, the work of Angela Rose Voulgarelis .
We move to the Rainbow Room and check out samples of short performances coming up in the National Queer Arts Festival! Then push back the chairs, slip on your dancing shoes and move to the serious sounds of DJ Trilce..
In the midst of all these festivities, up in Room 300, Lynnly Labovitz, a portrait photographer, will take photos of you to capture the night. Artists & audiences are especially encouraged to dress for the occasion and be captured digitally!
JOIN the fun for an unforgettable night! Jammin' sounds, mini-performances, art openings, food and drink: There’s no door charge but we can promise that we will ask you for a donation. For info: (415) 864-4124
