fresh start
new beginnings
feel better about work and moving past it
feel better about choices and opportunities and looking for them
sometimes things keep popping up and falling in your lap
something did today, let's hope it pans out

someday i will move to new york
someday i will have a kid
someday i will roll in autumn leaves and smell like earth and dirt for hours

until those things
i will revel in winter sunshine
i will revel in shiny friends that make me feel loved
i will revel in the ideas and visions that make moments special
i will revel in the beautiful people all over san francisco that make me seem very normal here

today. i have a lot of work. of many kinds. and i love it.

day is almost over

sometimes you need a good day
and even though i got really pissed off earlier
it is still a good day

i soon go to buy the final accoutrements for some presents
i soon go and talk shop with shiny people
i soon after go and drinky with some of the said shiny people
good times

Dear Friends:
Earlier this week someone dumped 178 healthy, friendly pet rats at
ACC. The woman who did this claims she just "found them" in
her yard, but she is being investigated for animal cruelty. In the meantime,
ACC desperately needs foster homes for the cute little critters.
They make wonderful pets, and many landlords who don't allow dogs or
cats do allow smaller animals. If no foster homes or adopters are found soon -- perhaps by the end of this weekend -- they will have to be killed. If you or someone you know can care for one or more rats until a permanent adopter can be found you will have the undying gratitude of ACC, their small animal volunteers and me. At least spread the
word.

Please call Melissa Flower, who is helping to coordinate this
rescue effort: (650) 756-7471; or call the front desk at ACC: (415) 554-6364, ext. 3 -- as soon as possible!

Thank you,

Bill Hamilton
