Just found out that our household bike got stolen from our downstairs storage area. it was in truth the lady's bike, and my idea to keep it down there. much guilt. shouldn't have left it down there - but it's our home. only one other tenant so why not trust? but workers have been working on the house and so the security of the back yard apparently was compromised. who knows who walked in off the sidewalk and took it.

anyone with leads for a bike or something - i wanna replace it since i feel responsible for the lack of security. i like to live as if i am in a small town - another fucked up reminder that i do not. sigh.

and this was supposed to be the day where everything made sense and was manageable again.

thanks darlin! it looks like the landlady is going to help replace it. we have to get a specific sized frame (15") since the lady isn't tall
