emchymonkeys are dancing in my head
trying to lure me out into the great outdoors
somehow at the gayer job i just seem to want to eat and leave
at the new job that wasn't so much an issue - too much to do
at the gayer job there is also too much to do, but i am easily distracted
i think i will be here late tonight
no writing group
no languid walk home via the bernal hill detour
but the plus side is that i can smell the grass on buena vista getting thick and dense in the night air
i bought "deliver me from nowhere" during my city wide hike on sunday.
i so understand
i now feel muddy and romantic and like i need to go and disappear into the backwoods of michigan where earth is softer and harder at the same time and gravel sticks to the raw skin on my knees after i slide down from the tree
ah - deliver me from nowhere exactly
