Alright - we are all like 12 kinds of excitable about the new doc Confessions of a Superhero that we have up. It's gotten rave reviews and much love at film festivals and comic book conventions and now - it's here and waiting for you to join the ranks of fans.

hi cindy! i'm hitting up everyone i know with this:

Finery, a literary & arts semi-quarterly is currently seeking submissions for its fifth issue due out in the summer of 2008, Rites of Passage. Submissions can be on topics of female rites of passage or more broadly on the rituals that are used to create, perform or distort femininity. We are seeking poetry, prose. creative non-fiction, novel excerpts and hybrid work. Those published shall receive a copy of Finery 5.

Submit up to three pieces of work, each one no longer than five pages as an attachment; please include a short bio as well. Email to: birdsoflace@gmail.com . Please submit no later than June 15, 2008.

Note: Finery publishes women (those who do/have/will identify as such) and genderfreaks. Submissions from dudes will not be considered.
