Ali Liebegott was a-fucking-mazing at QOM on Friday. Best part was either the duck chapbooks or the intro to 2008 Lesbian Erotica. It was just all so very Ali and it was just brilliant. The open mic was good also with some new folks and some newish regulars really belting it out of the park. What was not great was that the nearby church was having their xmas goodness and so i looked for parking for 45 minutes. the panic the stress the embarrassment of arriving at 7:55 for the event. I was hosting solo so there was no sign up list or nothing. Oy. But people rolled with it and all was good. I was just a wee frazzled. But it was great. I felt connected to the people that I wanted to be connected too. I was hopped up on coffee for the drive to Santa Nella after. It was just lots of fun.

The sad was missing a party I wanted to hit so that I could go write - but hey - how awesome to take off for the weekend to go write?
I have no complaints.
I feel like things are pretty damn good.

I did cheat.I had to download a copy of the chap & print it here at work so Amanda would have reading material---I wanted to send her back up to her folks in Detroit/The Mitt with your stuff to read and some cookies.So much snow up there her flight was delayed until today.
