We''re looking for a talented project manager with 1-3 years leading complex projects that require coordination with marketing, sales, designers, software developers, editors, and QA resources. This position is located at AtomFilms’ downtown San Francisco headquarters. Responsibilities • Develop detailed project specifications and timelines based on business requirements, consumer insights and company capabilities. • Manage the implementation of assigned projects; managing project tasks, resources, timelines & delivery dates, risk management and intra-company communication. • Coordinate with designers, editors and software developers to establish resource needs and best practices for feature and site development. • Communicate frequently with project stakeholders: provide regular status reports and develop informed deployment strategies - escalating to senior management whenever decisions must be made that alter project deliveries. • QA final deliveries to ensure requested and delivered feature sets match original requirements.
Sr. Product Manager - Shockwave Shockwave.com is one of the leading destinations for casual games and interactive applications on the Web. We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused product manager to focus on products related to the consumer experience of the Shockwave.com website. This individual will drive website strategies, determining feature sets and revenue opportunities through analysis of the external marketplace, customers, and competitors. This is a very hands-on role that requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to drive results by managing relationships within and outside the organization. Core Responsibilities Include: • Complete strategic analysis on new opportunities for product development; stay abreast of industry, competitive and consumer trends; drive product roadmap. • Execute large, cross-functional strategic product initiatives for Shockwave.com; using Web 2.0 development methods; • Team with marketing, productions and engineering groups to ensure timely products delivery within budget • Develop detailed project specifications composed of: wireframes, reporting requirements, creative briefs, "back-end" business process definitions, mock-ups and detailed functional descriptions of each feature/application. • Determine metrics of success for each product and follow-up with post-mortem analysis of product misses and successes. • Communicate frequently with team and management to provide regular status reports and develop informed strategies.
