a little dreamier

emchyvictoria williams singing, reminding me of a radio show i used to host, cold winter pushed back a little by the warm sun of enw orleans and driving through tennessee, southern illinois. blue sky in a small sliver out my window, clouds over bernal hill to the other side.
today, instead of running to berkeley on an errand i can't afford i give myself a date. i will drive to the park and go for a walk. as slow or as fast as i want. i have scrungy clothes, so i can even get dirty, and come back to the tidy office. reinsert the cog in the machine. alive.
i want to walk in the rain and feel alive.
