what it is...
Oct. 30th, 2004 10:29 amup early and I am channelling my mother
as of 10 o clock I decided that i was already WAY too behind schedule and so had to fight off the cranky monsters
I hate that I am programmed for maximum efficiency
so now I am letting time slip by a little
since I wasn't out of the house by 9 to get to japan town for daikon and kombu, it must wait until after doggy class and thus throws off the WHOLE DAY
but i'll work it out
gives me time to spread some love and brain cells on the LJ
hopefully i can get what i need at rainbow post SPCA and then we can do the walk home from there
this whole -no car- thing sucks, mainly due to the weekly spca class - taking the pup on muni is super not fun since sometimes you get the driver who is so mean and just glares at you the whole time. Lucky doesn't mind it very much, but the whole bus dynamic sucks extra with a 35 pound dog to protect and keep happy from the potential muni drama
so we have a plan for the car - yay
and a vague plan for some money yay
and i think that i might get a second job for the holidays at my own retail weakness spot sure my extra may go to shopping, but odds are that it will help me both afford and save big on xmas presents, which is important to me - very important to get people tokens of happy
i think tomorrow before the kiddie candy time i will head downtown and apply for said job
hopefully i am qualified enough to fold clothes
(hey lofiordie can your man hook me up? it's for that place that is owned by where he works...)
weird thing is - i actually LOVE retail
i think it is fun to interact with people and help them find trinkets and clothes that make them happy and the interaction with so many coworkers, being a part of the team etc.
I left it because the $$ is not great and somehow admin was presented as more of a 'real' job
hmmm maybe my opinion will soon change
alrighty
code word for the day
