evening out?

tonight i got home form work with too much energy to stay home
knowing if i actually committed to something it would be the death of any adventure - at 11-esque i ventured out
to le hubba hubba revue - a land of people i know and acts i enjoy
the show was a fucking hit
with clown burlesque and a junkie cookie monster and girl gangs and a routine to little esther that broke me
it was a good night
the girl from michigan who was gorgeous and charming and drunk and far too interested reminded me of what good nights at bars look like if you're single. she was charming but i was not... single and so had to be the asshole who is all - oh i thought we were just being friendly but yea no i am married and happily so and the dance of the drunk not understanding and the married trying not to be cruel began. it turned out ok. she found a nice german boy to go home with. all is good in the end. and yet i still felt like a jerk somehow.

i luckily and wonderfully ran into more folks than expected for a random last minute excursion and that was divinity.

home now with ringing ears reminding me of ear plugs and that recent ruptured eardrum....

thinking out loud - nothing to see here

coffee in hand. dressed. now for the list of what to get done or go do before my 1230 date with rooster. once a year i watch a football game. today it is. and so while she is out and about this morning i plan - b/c that is how i roll. she really loves pizza on game day and that means i gotta get to the store... make a pizza with no wheat and no cow dairy. rainbow it is then.

what i want to get done. i have about two hours.
dog walk. grocery store. light cleaning. find my belt. stumasa maybe...

ok realistically

1040 - 1055 finish coffee, get belt, feed critters, head out
11 - 1130/40 dog walk (stern grove... fort funston... lake merced... glen park... bernal heights.... so unsure)
1145 - 1200 drive to rainbow
12 - 1215 get cormeal pizza crust, annies, tomatoes, soy cheese, pine nuts, goat cheese, tortilla chips, salsa, guacamole, carrots, eggs, lilac soap
1215 - 1230 get home

ok that isn't realistic
how does two hours run away so fast?
alright - gotta cut down on dog walk time and maybe do groceries first and then dog walk on way back so i can adjust for timing...

did all of it and only ran 15 minutes late

the walk in glen canyon with the dog up and down the hill and full of grass and sunshine and trees was just amazing
the rainbow was crowded and friendly and i love seeing my cheese people - having a sample brought to me from across the store was pretty hot too
completely amused that i fell for the 'lean over and grab that" cleavage trick.
just made the worlds best goat cheese pizza
the 'big game' is on - it's very amusing to watch rooster watch football

tonight is all about the long made plans and walking in the moment

three goat cheese pizza

mmmm tasty~

so it was

spelt / cornmeal crust
for 1st layer, about 2 tblsp of annies (a pimento nut spread) and pesto sauce mixed together and spread around
then about 1/4 - 1/2 cup goat mozzarella
then 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms, one sliced roma tomato
then 1/4 cup grated goat cheddar
then 1/4 cup goat pecorino (grated more finely)
bake on a cookie sheet @450 for 15 mins to lets the cheese brown
let cool for 10 mins

and then OMG a party in your mouth
