Jon Sims Center and SF in Exile Present:
CAKE & DEBAUCHERY:
an evening of uncommon erotica
Tickets: at door $8-$20 sliding scale / no one turned away for lack of funds
Showtime: Saturday, October 7, 8:00 PM
Cake: [keyk] n. A tasty dessert often found at birthday celebrations.
Debauchery: [di-baw-chuh-ree] n. Excessive indulgence in sensual
pleasures. Best when combined with cake.
Join Katrina James as she celebrates her thirty-sixth birthday by hosting
an evening of out-of-the-ordinary erotica and burlesque. In a city where
sexual preferences and gender orientations span the colors of the rainbow,
what stories have slipped sideways out of view? What is unusual? Untold?
Difficult to choreograph without illustrated instructions?
Sherilyn Connelly, Cookie, Cindy Emch, Marlo Gayle, Dorian Katz, Steven
Schwartz, and Lori Selke will tell tales of consensual kidnapping, offer
erotic twists on Hans Christian Anderson, entice you with burlesque, maul
you with BEARlesque, and even get literally Cronenbergesque. And, of
course, what birthday celebration would be complete without cake and
spankings?
The show features queer and transgendered artists whose performances will
be recorded for the SFinX online archive at www.SFinX.org.
