it sent chills up my spine and made me want to cry. i agree -- the pleasant smile was a nice mind-fucking touch.

the piece brought up a lot of questions about things we don't usually think about -- where the grey areas are, where the lines are, and what the victims experience when they don't know they're the victims.

and in that sense, it fucked with my sense of reality on a personal level, and i'm feeling kinda ripped open by it.

I didn't get to tell you that your piece made me want to give you a big hug. That even though I know that you now know you weren't the one to blame, it made me hurt for the part of you that once believed you were.

I'm not sure I'm saying that quite right, so I hope you know what I mean. If not, I'll try to clarify.

And I've always admired how so much of your writing peels back your skin and puts your heart on display.
