so i found out that i have a tuition allowance now at my job - as long as the larnin' somehow relates to my job.
aka - pop culturey / filmy / internety / musicy

If you are into doing something at The Crucible for metal/robotics arts as well as wood, check out The Flaming Lotus girls in SF. I think anyone can join and learn to weld and stuff.
I've also heard excellent things about the woodshop at Laney College in Oakland. It's a community college.
I used to work in a high end cabinet shop. I hope you get to work with wood.

I just took that class last weekend. It rocks on with its socks on.

I'm the guy what works at the front desk in the office, too, so gimme a call and we'll see what we can do.

At the very least we can getcha in the claymation class.

Well come to our open house on the 16th and 17th. Big fun!

I'll be the guy in the ARC welding room giving welding demos. Or in the woodshop doing wood turing demos.
