Queer Open Mic poetry and performance night is hosted by Cindy M. Emch and Sherilyn Connelly and happens on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month. Proceeds benefit the performers and Bitch Magazine.
5/12 Feature: Tim Donnelly
We at the Queer Open Mic are uniters, not dividers. (We're also occupiers rather than liberators, but that's another story.) Our mission is to build bridges between queer and straight...boy and girl...San Francisco and East Bay. Okay, there's already a bridge for those last two, but we're doin' it anyway! Appearing on our stage May 12 will be poet extraordinaire Tim Donnelly, co-host of the Last Word open mic series at Pegasus Books in Berkeley. Join us as we make the world a little bit tinier.
