for the past 20 years or so, a group of friends and myself rent a beach house in Stinson, which your pictures remind me of. It's usually in February, so it's grey and cool, so we stay inside, and pretend to be epicureans, play board games and occasionally venture out and dip toes into the chilly surf and foam.
