i just want three more days and i would have everything i want for both the open mic and my bday. sadly, not sure if the chapbook i started working on JUST LAST NIGHT will be done by TOMORROW. jeez. shame i had to get sick and miss that whole weekend of working on it. sigh.

I'm glad you're feeling so much better! Poetry does it, doesn't it? Poetry and music. Poetry and music and love. Of which the last of those is just a restatement of the first two. Or is it vice versa?

I gotta head over to the East Bay in a few hours (starting a dog- & house-sitting gig that's gonna feel like a vacation, out in the hills with trees and plants to water and puppies to sit next to and and and...). When were you thinking? I could get through a few things here and be 'round your place around lunch-time... are you there?
