This group of people extended their kindness to me in a time when the sky looked gloomy and scary and the future outlook was just overwhelming. Your actions touched me in ways that I cannot even explain. I can only say, you made me feel loved when I felt unlovable, you made me feel like family when I have never felt more orphaned, you made me feel like there was a safety net when I was falling out of the window. You made me cry in a really really good way. You gave me hope, not just in people, but in what friendship can actually mean. No one has even been like that for me before. Not just for a friend. Not just because. Not just to be good, and you all did.
