emchy | (no subject)

last night was a good night. in no particular order I: drank makers manhattans, tried a super green neon frozen thingy that made me want to be drunker and my brain got frozen, got branded / tagged / claimed by someone wonderful, found out my dad is actually going to be fine, cracked my ribcage back open and came to friends and lover with the openest heart and lots and lots of empathy and love, heard some really good poetry, got TWO count em TWO amazing presents that made me feel so loved, got called kiddo, hugged on my dog, read a new poem in public that i am not sure I like but it inspired KR to refer to me as a goth girl (i love when people see that beneath my pink and cheerful), accepted the fact that i have drama with some people and really don't care, talked my heart out to a friend that i feel like i never have the opportunity to talk my heart out to and it was good good good, got a super loving message on my phone from another friend, watched someone start to move forward and have hope again

basically, a day of change and transformation and rain on my face to make me feel alive
now, the weather is the same as what i loved yesterday, and i say, that if i cannot have a fireplace and some movies to watch and a hot tub to hop in to indulge the slow and sleepy lazy that this weather inspires, then dammit the sun had better come out!
