ok so...
today so far has ruled
i did still have a fever when i woke up but - that did not deter me from early day errands and coffee with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
smallstages whom i haven't seen in way too long considering how much she makes me laugh. "but smallstages i am lost and soon to be broke and omg you're right and how did i not see it and hahahaha" there is me rolling on the ground laughing so hard at sometimes i don't even know what. she just makes it all better. so we braved the parts of town where a quarter in a meter gets you only 6 minutes and ate pig flesh and picked up things that were needed. i got to show her some of my favorite sf dorky places that i only go during the holidays and we got to laugh at ghost yuppies who bang into people and can't even tell because they are so disconnected from themselves. by the time i got home the cold was making itself very known but my mood was fighting back the full force of the ick. rooster took a break from her end of semester workity work work and we had some tasty no prep dinner and then i decided to pick up the squeezebox since ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
vagabondageband is playing three very new songs at the show on monday.
somehow i started playing with a plan of half an hour and now three hours is gone daddy gone. dayum. ended up rehearsing some numbers for the seattle show as well and feeling still nervous but also damn good about how that is gonna go. i'll be rolling solo and so gotta practice both vagabondage and rhubarb whiskey songs that usually have either dual or other person vocals on em. good times.
but especially cool was post practice i checked my email and found out this project i was a part of is officially rolling. it's called last book. it's an installation at the national museum in buenos aires with artists from 53 countries who submitted and it's supposed to be the last printed book - a comment on digitalization and internets and stuff like that. here is a youtube video of it. i just think its kinda rad to be part of something so international. neat!
