ok so i have decided that going to work on my birthday is actually pretty damn cool
i got in and there were homemade cookies on my desk from a new coworker
and flowers / card that my gay cohort dropped on my desk on his way to the airport to go catch a plane
then a fabulous accordion cd landed on my desk from another cohort
then there was a mexican lunch yum. the only fail of which was some whoops over people who wanted to come not realizing we were leaving. oops!
then at lunch there was a candle gifty
the on my desk when we got back was a card from the ceo

alright - this kinda works for me.

plus since i am not out running around i am actually seeing and smiling from livejournal and facebook affection. i am full of awwww

and!!! and!!! i am giggling as i have been gifted two new lj icons so far - i am an icon whore - i am so excited!
