I feel more in myself than in weeks
lsat nights closing party for the film festival was a dream. i was slow to get excited about it since it meant more rushing around on a day where i just wanted to stop. but
got all done up, got to the party, and as if the universe had a present just for me...

i didn't stop smiling for hours
it was the perfect thing

i told the lady at one point
you give me whiskey and jazz and cannot help but be happy

other amazing things happeed last night
borggrrl gave me the most wonderful gift - omigod you are so cool - she is the new mascot for sadie i think...
sherilyn ripped the radio show - yay! i figured out that i ripped it too, but i didn't start until 6 and we all were being hilarious at 5:30 or so
Q called and is in town - i love to be loved. looks like we meet 2nite for drinks
sean gets here in 8 days
the friend made me smile a lot
and i met a new friend with a pork pie hat and we monopolized each other talking about zorn, tzadik and performance poetry for like an hour. i love that.

I have more things like that than I really need and I'd enjoyed her for a year and a half now, so it felt right for her to move along and brighten someone else's life. (Despite the fact that she's named to the contrary.)
