I remember the last time a movie had a PROFOUD effect on me and how it made me feel. It's similar to how you reacted to Grindhouse, with less outward expression. It's funny how in the course of an hour and a half, you find yourself falling in love with these characters, people you've never met but sincerely feel for their well-being and success. You laugh and cry and fight and struggle and claim victory with them, and in the end, your heart feels desire for more. Even the greatest conclusion leaves you lacking, you need more. More closure, more background, more information, and yet the art of the picture was perfection, and to continue would take away from the film. So you write and talk and EXPRESS and THINK, and the movie does what it was supposed to do: Envoke Thought. A good movie doesn't just entertain, it opens your perspective, really draws you in and shows you something.
Sorry 'bout the long response, somehow I think you'll understand and agree with me, though. (-:
