funny morning
the urban landscape is teasing me this morning - looking so calm and stoic while the busy busy bees zip zip zip around the streets and sidewalks

in conjunction with my boss still being out of town
when I expected it to be the busy, productive, get him back on track since he has been out of town day
my rhythm is thrown off
i am not the busy busy bee
so i am listening to the soundtrack of coworkers goofing off, while the momoliths of downtown hide beneath a grainy grey veil - a little shy, a little dirty, and hard working construction people compose a cacophony of avant garde ambient orchestrations benearh my window
if i am lucky the sun will come out
lift the vague malaise, that isn't unhappy, but obtuse - my thoughts covered in that same grainy veil
maybe i am going back to a mindset that used to encourage me to lie on my back in rural cemetaries. i was the only one living for miles, amidst tombstones broken by neglect. it's a secret treasure to find the graveyard that has become forgotten. peaceful. protective trees. a sense that time can be your own apart from this world, where everyone else stakes their claim on it.
