you know - this has just been a helluva week

last night - while chasing kitty after she woke us up at 1:30am
i ran smack into the door, and hit my head hard enough that I fell down
a crumpled wreck in tears with a goose egg growning on my head
and then
I try to lock kitty in the bathroom
not reward the bad behavior
put her somewhere where she has water and litter and won't wake us up all night
and slammed my thumb in the door upon my exit

big fun to go to bed with ice on the right and left sides of me

and i am so tired
i feel so unappreciated
and yes, so whiny
maybe I am a little too raw to write here today
reflecting badly on myself

so i stop
with the thought
that tomorrow is the open mic
and tonight
is patti smith
